Loy Krothong and the Yi Peng Lantern Festival
Not too very many days left before I head to Myanmar, and I have a bunch of chores and loose ends to tie up. Nonetheless I’m hell-bent here on sharing the magical Yi Peng festival that I witnessed, spell-bound last Saturday night. Not only a little video…

Yes Mike – Yi Peng’s been on my bucket list ever since I landed in Southeast Asia 2 years ago. Indeed, one of the main reasons I recently settled here in Chiang Mai. In a word, it was: MAGNIFICENT. I hope you get to witness it yourself one day.
