Clearly my $200 lunch at Central Restaurant in Lima, Peru did nothing to diminish my foodie ardor.  Indeed, if anything it’s sharpened my growing addiction to grazing the globe for ever new taste treats, and cemented a new resolve to turn my little Casa Dyannita “cocina” (kitchen) into a travel-eats laboratory.

And in that spirit – I present you with a recipe for THE most ubiquitous edible concoction here in my adopted home amid the towering Andes in South America.  The easiest, the peasiest, the yummiest…

Looks like gazpacho, no? I made it a few months ago and it was good, but I don’t see myself eating it every week… Reminded me too much of eating salsa… haha
