Sorry, I Can’t Make Lemonade of This Today.
Yes, I realize that you’ve all come to expect a modicum of hope, inspiration and cheeriness here at TravelnLass, but… Sorry, I just can’t dredge up any of that this morning.
I know it’s not the end of the world. Nor does it compare in magnitude with what those in many other countries are forced to live with daily. But after seven decades, I’m shocked to learn that all the ideals that my country has stood for since I was a tot – apparently don’t matter any more.
In short…
(P.S. Nonetheless, stay tuned – trust that my spirit can’t be squashed for long. I have a fun post that I think you’ll enjoy that’s waiting in the TL wings. Tomorrow the gloom shall lift here – I promise.)
