New TL Series: WOW Worthy Stuff
It seems to me that some time (read: a goodly many posts) ago, I initiated a new TL post label dubbed “TTMMGW” (Things That Make Me Go Wow). As I recall, it started with the majorly wondrous “Kinetic Rain“ art installation at Changi airport in Singapore, and… (as is my typical wont) it pretty much ended there. Oh I did eventually see those amazing synchronized raindrops in Singapore, but alas, my little TTMMGW label kinda got lost in the shuffle.
But no more.
Though I don’t sit at this silly digital contraption (a.k.a. my laptop) day and night, perpetually scouring the dimly lit distant corners of the www for tidbits of “wow”, I do run across stray wow-worthies every so often that I generally just share on facebook. But – given that I’m presently knee-deep in the wilds of Nepal, Borneo, and whoknowswhere (with limited i-juice access and even less time to peck), I thought I’d revive the old TTMMGW series and make it a regular TravelnLass category re-dubbed “Wow Worthy”, here at the new TL palace.
As my quest for wow worthiness is clearly subject to both serendipity and my usual unpredictably lazy nature, the new WW might well not bob up to the surface here for weeks on end and/or include but a single entry – else (on good weeks) a dozen or more. Hard to say. With the TL’s M.O. ya just never know. Nonetheless, without further ado, I offer you the first of the new WWs.

Indeed, though I’ll probably get a bit of flack for posting this, (as arguably a rather rabid, life-long frequent flyer) personally I agree with the (incredibly droll) bottom line point of it: “…remember that once you get on that plane, you are surrounded by morons, but those morons are mercifully unarmed.“
