Random Photo Memory: Sunrise at L’Auberge Ami

Decidedly mixed emotions here lately. This morning I’ll be leaving my idyllic Shangri-la here in the coool, greeen mountains of Dalat.

I’ve truly been blessed to have lived here at L’Auberge Ami (literally, the Home of Friends), and to count my dear landlady Mai as a true friend. The featured image above is the view I’ve had out my kitchen window each morning for nearly a year. Utterly peaceful and serene.

And to the left – that would be a glorious sunset each evening (whittled into a circle thanks to a bit of CSS code – nifty, no?)

I will dearly miss this place.
