Stuff That Makes Me Go WOW! – "Kinetic Rain"

Though I’ve run across a host of nifty stuff in my… goodness, nearly 20 years of surfing the Great DoubleU.DoubleU.DoubleU, I must admit, rarely do I stumble across anything that makes me do a double-take.  Indeed, in almost two decades, I can count but a dozen or so digitals that truly took my breath away.

But today was different.  There I was, just toolin’ along, wading through my stream of travel blogs in my beloved Google Reader RSS feed.  Pecking a few email replies and checking Facebook to see what my chums were up to.  Then suddenly… I clicked on my gazillionth link and found myself literally GASPING FOR BREATH.  A Vietnamese Facebook chum had posted a stray YouTube video of the “Kinetic Rain” sculpture at Terminal 1 of Changi airport, and…

Now I ask you, is not the above video utterly AMAZING, or what???

Indeed, made me quick check my air tickets for my trip to Sydney from Singapore next month and…

Woo-HOO!  I fly out of Changi airport!

You can bet that I shall move heaven ‘n earth to make sure I gaze at that wondrous creation – up-close and personal.

I KNOW Paul – I was blown away too. Even better – I can’t quite believe I’m sitting here with an air ticket that’s departing Changi airport – so I can see it in person in little more a month!
