Seriously. Just now back from 2 glorious days sailing amid THE most incredible setting on the Planet: The one, the only, the magnificent Ha Long Bay. Seriously. It's more magical than I could ever imagine. A dream setting.
Just a few moments here in the boat terminal in Ha Long City, waiting for the bus back to Hanoi. Tonight I'm bound for a train to Sapa.
Many, many, MANY pics - later.
I actually managed to find a geocache - indeed, was (incredibly) FTF (First To Find) called "Ti Top" (geochums, look it up...)
More hopefully later today from Hanoi, while I wait for the night train to Sapa.
Later this evening - from Hanoi - let's try adding some PICS!

Sorry - that's it for tonight - gotta catch that train to Sapa! (btw, I'll be riding on the back of a scooter through the streets of Hanoi to get to the train station - compliments of my hotel manager)
Have you learned to say "First To Find" in Vietnamese yet? :)
ReplyDelete@Paul - well "1" is "moat", but dunno about "find". So leastwise I can say "Moat to Find"!
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking photos, and how hilarious about the FTF! :)
