The ***New*** Bali Slideshow

O.k. so after the original Bali slideshow blunder at SlideRoll.com, I picked up the pieces, dusted myself off, and just jolly-well whittled a completely new show.  I’d never fiddled with MS Movie Maker before, but how hard could it be, yes?

The answer?  Extremely easy-peasy.  I had all my precious original Bali images of course, as well as the general “story” that I’d already once told in the old show.  So dropping the images in place and setting the (many!) transition options, timing, captions, text slides, etc. took but a few hours.  The toughest part was finding a bit of music to sync it all to, but I finally opted for a couple of Suzanne Chiani songs from her “Neverland” album.

Hmmm… “Neverland”.  Especially appropriate given the magic that envelopes you when you find yourself on the blissful island of Bali.

I still have a lot to learn of course, but take a peek at my first go above. All comments/suggestions most welcome (and do let me know if you have any trouble viewing it.)

I hope you get there Erica – Bali truly is a magical place.

btw, I see from your blog you were recently in Belize. That dear little nation holds a special place in my heart ‘cuz it inspired me to start my own adventure tour company back when few had even HEARD of Belize.

From you “Momentos” video – looks like Caye Caulker, yes? Nice to see that after 20 years it’s still sweetly laid-back.

Love it! Beautiful pictures – I want to go to Bali one day…

Thanks Dalene – Bali truly is a most magical place. Indeed, as I was re-creating the slide show, it made me pause and wonder… hmmm, maybe I should be moving to Bali instead of Vietnam!

Dalene

I want to go to there.

Nice work!!
